Promotional Associations

Promotional associations can help a business reach its intended audience.


A promotional association is a group or organization designed to connect businesses and help them reach their target audiences. A company can promote its product or service by distributing items, usually imprinted with the company name, to potential customers. The items can be used as part of a specific marketing campaign or a general way to increase product awareness.


PPAI


Promotional Products Associated International (PPAI) has more than 8,000 members. A statement adopted by the group says that its primary objectives include facilitating increased use and value of promotional products and enhancing the success of its members.


PMA


The Promotion Marketing Association (PMA) is a national non-profit trade association that bills itself as "dedicated to the industry of marketing disciplines," according to its website. Membership in the group, which was founded in 1911, includes Fortune 500 companies, as well as law firms, academic institutions, retailers and service providers.


NEPPA


The New England Promotional Products Association (NEPPA) sponsors educational seminars throughout the year, with credits available toward industry designations, such as Master Advertising Specialist. NEPPA hosts the two largest industry trade shows in New England and offers supplier showcase seminars throughout the region to help suppliers show their new products.


PMANC


The Promotional Marketing Association of Northern California (PMANC) promotes, according to its website, "education, communication and sharing of ideas" to benefit its members and the promotional industry. The group offers a free video, online magazine and opportunities to be among the featured suppliers each month.


PPAMS


Based in Nashville, the Promotional Products Association of the Mid-South was formed in 1995. The organization hosts an annual trade show and offers a monthly newsletter in which members can introduce new product lines.
