Become Eligible To Run For President

So you want to become president of the United States, eh? Well, good luck to you. After answering the question of why anyone would want a job that is so stressful it ages you in ways that are obvious to everyone, you must realize that it is extremely difficult to become president. However, it is ridiculously easy to qualify.

Instructions

1. Read Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution. It lists the requirements: You must have been born in the United States, you must be at least 35 years old and you must have lived within the United States for 14 years.

2. Go to each state's website and find out which forms, requirements and deadlines each state has for getting your name on its ballot. They vary from state to state. Arkansas, for example, requires 1,000 signatures. Many states require signatures that equal to 1 percent or less of the total votes cast in the last election. Georgia requires 5 percent.

3. Fill out the necessary paperwork and return it on time.
