Change From Traditional Business To Ebusiness

E-businesses have access to a global clientele.

With increasing developments in international communication platforms, more and more businesses are shifting from traditional to e-business setups. This has been brought about by increased flexibility of operating on internet platforms and lowered costs associated with e-businesses. E-business practices overcome rigorous administration and operation costs associated with traditional businesses. E-businesses also have a larger consumer base and a diverse business competition platform on which to operate.

Instructions

1. Write standard operating procedures for the e-business. SOPs outline the entire operational process. Modify your business plan to meet online business requirements. Clearly define procedures for conducting online transactions and communicating with clients. Provide a detailed layout of all organizational processes to undertaken by the e-business.

2. Build a website to provide a platform for the e-business. Hire qualified web development experts to design an attractive, easy-to-navigate website.

3. Acquire hardware to run the business website. Rent adequate server space for running the website, keeping in mind projected traffic and client base growth.

4. Set aside an advertising budget to promote the e-business. Set-aside funds can be used to pay for high-end print and traditional media advertising. Advertising funds can also be used to pay for online ads.
