Book posters advertise much like movie posters do.
New book posters are much like movie posters. They're designed to grab the attention of the public and make that public want to read the new book advertised in the poster. All posters will have basic information like the title of the book, the author's name and sometimes the date the book will be released. These posters can be large or small and might be be displayed in bookstores or other areas that will grab your attention.
Instructions
1. Read what the title of the book is on the poster. Because all book posters are designed differently, this information could be anywhere on the poster. However, the title of the book is usually in the biggest font.
2. Look at the author's name. This may be under the book title.
3. Check the bottom of the poster. This will usually be where the book's release date is. There will more than likely be a day and a month, sometimes a year as well. However, some might just say "Coming Soon" on them.
4. Look for any other information on the poster. If it's in front of a bookstore, sometimes there will be book signing information on it. It might say that the author of the book will be at that bookstore on a certain date signing copies of his new book. Some posters will also have book tour information on them. The author's website might be on the poster as well.
