There are so many Playboy Bunny costumes out there, but who have you seen dressing like the girls of the mansion themselves? Holly, Bridget and Kendra are now synonymous with the Playboy name, so why not make them your costume goal instead of a tired pair of ears and a puff-ball tail? Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
Dress Like Kendra
1. Start with the "Girls Next Door" trademark striped tube socks. If you want to be fully Kendra-inspired, pick them up in the Chargers colors of gold and blue.
2. Pair your socks with a pair of cute running shoes.
3. Pick up a pair of sporty short-shorts. Soffe shorts are good in a pinch, but the shorter and stretchier the better.
4. Buy a kids-sized jersey. Eagles or Chargers designs are best, since they're Kendra's home team and favorite team, respectively. (The Lakers are a favorite, too.) Tie back the jersey if it's not tight enough.
5. Buy a blond wig; or, if you're already a blonde, put your hair up in a high ponytail. Curl the very ends to get Kendra's look.
6. Add a little bit of makeup, but keep it natural. Kendra wears the least makeup of all the girls.
Dress Like Holly
7. Start with a pink argyle sweater. Holly often wears this in interviews during the show. You can dress it up a little by adding a button-down shirt underneath.
8. Pair the top with a classy strand of pearls.
9. Add a pleated skirt to the mix. Holly often wears schoolgirl-style skirts in a dark fabric.
10. Pull on some tube socks; get white ones with pink and black stripes if you can find them.
11. Toss on a pair of heels or, if you're feeling adventurous, some Heelies (the shoes with wheels). Holly often zips around the office in these.
12. Tease your hair a bit, but keep it sleek. Curl at the ends for bounce. If you're not blond, throw on a long blond wig with a bit of curl.
13. Apply your makeup heavily on the eyes, with fake lashes. Line your lips carefully with a neutral color and wear pink lipstick.
14. Throw in a "Puffin" stuffed animal to finish off the look.
Dress Like Bridget
15. Start with a pink dress, the frillier the better. If you can't find one, try a pink sundress in a floral pattern.
16. Find some white pumps or high-heeled Mary Janes.
17.Add a silver necklace (a Playboy bunny necklace, if you can find it).
18. Go heavy on the makeup with lined lips and heavy eyes. Add some blush for Bridget's rosy look.
19. Add a long blond wig with curl; or, if you're blond, add heavy curl to the bottom of your hair.
20. Carry around a stuffed-animal version of "Winnie," her tiny black dog.
