Negotiate A Time Warner Install Date

Your installation date is negotiable.


If you want to watch television and use the Internet in your home, then you will need to call your Time Warner provider. Time Warner Cable provides Internet and television services to consumers around the country. A Time Warner technician will come to your home to install the cable system and Internet modem. Call Time Warner to set up a time for your installation.


Instructions


1. Call Time Warner at 1-855-820-9903. When a representative comes on the line, ask him if Time Warner has any deals for cable and/or Internet service. You do not have to reveal right away that you definitely want those services. Rates are negotiable.


2. Tell the representative that you would like to have an installation for cable or Internet set up, if you are happy with the rates. The representative will give you the earliest possible date a technician can visit you.


3. Select a date that works for you. The representative then will give you a window -- usually several hours, such as between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. -- during which you must be home. The representative cannot give you a specific time. However, you can decide which window best works for you. You may be able to get to the top of a list if you pick a day for which no other customers have signed up.


4. Ask that the technician call you when he is within about 10 minutes of your home. The Time Warner representative will place your phone number and this note in your record.
