There are a variety of celebrations during the spring. Throw a March Madness Mixer for yourself and your friends while watching which teams will make it to the Final Four. March Madness Mixer
Track which teams will make it to the Final Four with you and your closest friends. A March Madness Mixer can be a cross between a college sporting event and the atmosphere of a sports bar. Decorate with streamers, balloons, and school team mascot posters. Have foam basketballs, mini hoops and a poster board where you can draw brackets starting with 65 teams. Serve sports bar food like buffalo wings, soda, dips, and basketball cupcakes. Include basketball-inspired plates and cups.
April Fool's Day Bash
An April Fool's Day Bash can be a mischievous party filled with pranks and fun. Begin with a riddle on the invitation. At the entrance, place stuck down coins that can't be picked up. The host can shake hands with a hand buzzer. Have whoopee cushions on every dining chair. Use food coloring in food to create visually unusual dishes. For example, dye milk blue. Serve finger food and use hot toothpicks that are spicy. For desert, serve everyone a cupcake with a magic relighting candle. In drinks, get cubes with a fake bug stuck in ice for each cup. Hang rubber chickens as decor. Put a toilet screamer in the bathroom, so that when they lift the lid it makes a frightening scream.
Earth Day Celebration
Though people can argue that every day is an Earth Day, the official holiday is during the spring on April 22. When choosing theme colors, use different shades of green. Hang posters of the planet on the wall, as well as nature photography. Only use recycled products for decor. Have the movie "Planet Earth" play on your television in the background. Serve organic natural food. Use plants and flowers to decorate your event. Hand out recycled party favors, along with pamphlets on tips to go green.
