Cross Promote Your Small Business Successful Marketing

Cross promote your small business. Successful marketing

Successful cross promotion can bring in new clients for you and your affiliate business.

Instructions

1. The concept of cross promotion marketing is simple. Find a business with the same customer base as yours, that is not a direct competitor. It can be a related business or an unrelated business.

2. Think of related businesses in your market who have the same customers or client base but don't directly compete with you. I sell real estate. I have done well sharing ad cost with title companies, mortgage brokers, and carpet cleaners. I also do well with businesses who want my customers after they buy. These include landscapers on new homes, cable T.V. sales, fence companies, hot tub sales etc...

3. Now think of unrelated businesses. I have done mailers with a local non profit organization. We split the cost of a mailer and targeted a 2 sided flier to a market area. We both got leads and for about half the cost of doing it solo.

4. Think of businesses that tie in well. A furniture company might do a cross promotion with a wood polish product. A shoe store might cross promote with a 10K race. Maybe trade race promotion posters for a small logo on the back or a tee-shirt. Your products don't need to be connected, just targeted to the same crowd to do a joint ad campaign.

5. Once you find a business that works well with you contact them and sit down an brainstorm over advertising campaigns that you would like to do together. You may both already have a mailing list or data base that will be helpful to each others advertising. Even trading mailing lists can be a good way to save marketing money.
